LAURA- has been involved in the cheerleading and gymnastics world since the age of 5. She had 14 years of experience as an ATHLETE in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading (as well as school cheer), including Level 5 All-Star Cheerleading, Varsity cheerleading in HS, and a near miss into JR Olympic gymnastics training due to an injury. She was an All-American Cheerleader all 4 years of high school. She has been a COACH of competitive all-star teams and recreational cheerleading and tumbling for 17 years. During her time as an All-star cheerleading coach, she has led teams to numerous national titles. She also led three teams to earn an NCA National Championship title (including a BACK-TO- BACK title for 2016 and 2017), and has had numerous teams that have earned bids to THE SUMMIT and earned the title of top 3 or 4 in the world!
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Exercise and Sports Science from UMHB in 2008, followed closely by her Secondary Education certification. She taught Sophomore English at Troy High School for three years, where she also served as the JV and Varsity cheerleading coach. Laura was an instructor for NCA (National Cheerleaders Association) for seven years. Three of those years, she was a Head Instructor. She was voted Top Veteran Instructor in 2006 and received her AACCA (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches & Administrators) certification in 2003. Working for NCA, she traveled around the country teaching cheerleading camps to high school, middle school, college, and all-star teams. As a Head Instructor, she ran the camps and taught the coaches proper technique for all aspects of cheerleading. She also judged tryouts and competitions, worked NCA All-Star nationals for 4 years, choreographed middle school and high school routines, and worked in the corporate office during her time with NCA. She currently coaches all levels of competitive all-star cheerleading here at Powerhouse! She also holds camps, judges tryouts, and choreographs pep-rally and competitive routines for schools.
JASON- has 16 years experience in the cheerleading industry and has judged numerous collegiate and High School competitions. Jason is currently the head All-Star Coach and Power Tumbling Coach. He also teaches private tumbling lessons.
CHOREOGRAPHY: Jason has choreographed many tumbling and stunt sections for competition routines for all age levels.

STACY- has been involved in the Cheering Industry for over 12+ years. She is currently one of our All-Star coaches and a full time teacher at Academy ISD where she also serves as Cheerleading coach.
JEREMY- is our POWERHOUSE Head Coach and has eight years experience in tumbling, all levels, and four years all round tumbling coaching experience.
He also teaches private tumbling lessons for our recreational and All-Star team members.

BRIANA- has been a member of our Powerhouse Family since 2009. With a background in cheerleading since 1999, Briana has grown up in this industry and has fallen in love for this sport. Pursuing a degree in Accounting at Texas A&M University - Central Texas, she has now become the Office Manager for our gym. Her outstanding managing and accounting skills, Briana has been a thriving asset to this Family.

KALEY- has been with the Powerhouse Family for over 6 years. Beginning her career as a dancer and then taking on cheerleading, Kaley developed upon her skills as an amazing athlete. Once graduating high school, Kaley was privileged enough to be a part of the Texas State University Co-Ed Cheer Team. Following her collegiate career she has now decided to be a coach at Powerhouse. Full of energy and spunk, Kaley strives to teach and instill the values of cheerleading in all of the kids she coaches.

SHAWN - as a member of the gym, Shawn has displayed his extraordinary talents as a cheerleader which has set him apart from all others. From his experience at Powerhouse he was able to further his cheerleading carrier at Trinity Valley and is now at Texas Tech University. As a coach at Powerhouse, he has poured his love of this sport out on all the athletes that he coaches.

CARLTON- is one of Powerhouse’s amazing athletes that has furthered his career as a cheerleader taking it to the collegiate level. Now an athlete of Trinity Valley’s Cheer Team, Carlton’s training has taught him skills that he is able to teach the athletes at Powerhouse. He has been an all-round athlete since high school and we are so blessed to have him as part of the Powerhouse Staff Family.

2019 Marcus will be entering into his 4th year as an NDA (National Dance Alliance) Staff member.
He was apart of the NDA Collegiate Staff for the summers of 2018 & 2019.
He Traveled around the United States to over 7 States teaching Dance and Convention style Dance Camps.
In 2013 Marcus auditioned to be in the Marymount Manhattan College Dance Program and was accepted into the program as a BFA with a concentration in Ballet.
He was a Collegiate Dance Coach at Stephen F. Austin State University 2018-2019
He auditioned for 'So you think you can dance' in 2019 & made it to the preliminary rounds.
